Part 1 - Here are just a few Tome Tactics.  If you find more feel free to add them.  These will help out in BS, Blood and Bile runs as well as solo PvE.  


Harrier’s (Bestial) Tome Tactics - Every 10 unlocks a Tactic


Harrier’s Savagery - You can approach 50% closer to an enemy Animal monster before it will attack you.


Harrier’s Pelt - You can approach 50% closer to an enemy Animal monster before it will attack you, and you take 5% less damage from them.


Harrier’s Ken - You can approach 50% closer to an enemy Animal monster before it will attack you, and you take 5% less damage from them. You will gain 50% more experience from these enemies.


  1. Barrak Varr (21k, 51k-56k, 30k-40k, 52k) - Kill Jowler - Level 16 Boar located under a bridge.

  2. Black FirePass (38k,60k) - Kill Famished Squig - Lvl 25 Champion hiding in mountains eating goats.

  3. Black Crag (4k, 9k) - (D) Kill Stinky - Basilisk - Level 36 at the back of the SulfurCaves (NW corner of the map)

  4. Black Crag - Kill Pit Bat - Level 30 at the Bat Hollow, W of greenskin CH15 camp

  5. Chrace (49k, 21k) - (O) Kill 60 Warpwood Spiders - Level 10 – Max out kill collector Elthossar YoungStarat found by cliffs of Ushuru at 53k, 32k

  6. Ostland (39k, 40k-29k, 30k) - Kill Heartraker - Level 17 Champion at the Empire ch 8 town, follow the mountains to a champ bat in trees. MOB wanders.

  7. Troll Country - (O) Kill 50 Blueridge Salamanders or Bluespine Salamanders - Level 11-15 - Afterwards talk to Dietr Stroh

  8. Barrack Varr (5k, 23k-8k, 29k) - Travel to the beach

  9. Blighted Isle (49k, 36k) - (O) Kill 50-60 Blighted Scorpions - Level 4 - Afterwards talk to Caethsetir Silverstrand.

  10. Blighted Isle – (D) Unlock this in the quest camp near first PQ near the starting DE area.  It was from one of the quest givers in the camp and is called Lucrative Intrigue. Turn in NPC is Tiritha Venomfire.  This quest requires you to complete both quest given by Nehmora the Hag before you can get the Lucrative Intrigue quest. Kill scorpions just outside Sternbrow’s Lament.

  11. Barrak Varr - (O) Kill 50-60 Bloodtusk Warsnouts - Level 14 - Afterwards talk to Elagroth Karginson

  12. Ellyrion (40k,50k - 61k, 57k) - Kill Shadowscream - Level 19 Champion

  13. Praag - (D) Kill Ursun Bears - Level 37 - until you get a Deadmaul’s Paw - Sell this item to a merchant.

  14. Praag (59k, 13k) (O) Kill Deadmaul, lvl 38 Champion, until you get a Deadmaul’s Paw - Sell this item to a merchant

  15. Praag - (D) Talk to a guard with a hound near him in near Chapter 19 to receive an empty bag - Kill Ungol Stallions - Level 37 - for Fresh Meat, and then return to the guard.

  16. Reikland (2k, 18k) - (O) Kill Grinya - Level 38

  17. Reikland (59k, 19k) - (D) Kill Bloodmane - Level 38

  18. Talabecland (5k, 43k) - Kill Plaguefeather - Level 29 Champion

  19. Thunder Mountain - Kill Graelba - Level 35 - Located in multiple spawn or paths 22k,49k - 62k,21k

  20. Highpass (46k, 51k) - (O) Kill Lishka - Level 26 a grey named that roams the cliffs overlooking the PQ Grisley Herd

  21. Talabecland (46k, 8k) - (D) Kill Sorenna - Level 26 just SE of Volgen, Chaos CH 12 camp.

  22. Kadrin Valley (6k, 15k) - Kill Thag Bolgar - Level 32

  23. Nordland - (D) Kill 60 Grey Wolf Spiders - Level 9 - Afterwards talk to Golen kill collector in Chap 4 Proving Ground

  24. Black Crag - (O) Kill Black Scale - Level 39 Champion - Located in (41k39k, 46k, 39k) Multiple spawn - Need killing blow.

  25. West Praag (31k, 21k) - Kill Lost Hound - Level 33 

  26. Riekland - (O) Kill Reik Wolf Level 31, Lynsk Wolf for 5 Fine Wolf Pelts - Afterwards turn in to Multan the Huntsman - Note: Drop rates on these wolves is extremely low.

  27. Black Crag - (D) Kill 6 young basilisks N of the Ch16 quest hub. Afterwards talk to the goblin Gubs. He is hiding by the fence in the N part of the hub.

  28. Mt. Bloodhorn - (D) Kill 60 Dog Waylayers / Dog Firecallers - Afterwards talk to Da War Maker

  29. Barak Varr (19k, 17k) – Kill Stonescale

  30. Kadrin Valley – Max out kill collector with giant lizards at Greenskins CH 21

  31. Mount Bloodhorn – (D) Talk to Bloody Sun Burner in Komar in the building with the merchant to get a sack of rotting fruit. Travel E to 22.5K, 24k or 24.5k, 25k. Among the camp of vultures are slop baskets. Right click on each one to dispose of the fruit (weak vultures will spawn). Return to the Bloody Sun Burner in side the hut.

  32. Praag – (O) Talk to the hunger hound behind the tent with the rally master in CH17. He gives you an empty bag. Kill Warpwind Night Runners near the tunnel at 8.5k, 64k to get fresh meat.  Return to the hound to give them the meat.

  34. Kill 10,000 Squigs

Favour (Chaos) Tome Tactics


 Favour the Daemonic - Increases your chances to defend against attacks made by enemy Beastmen monsters by 5%.


Favour the Gods - Increases your chances to defend against attacks made by enemy Beastmen monsters by 5%, and you take 5% less damage from them.


Favour the Mad - Increases your chances to defend against attacks made by enemy Beastmen monsters by 5%, and you take 5% less damage from them. As long as you are attacking a monster of this type, your abilities will cool down 2 seconds faster.


  1. Talabecland (48k, 39k) - (O) Kill Blackhorn Bestigors until you receive the item Grisly Necklace. Right Click on Grisly Necklace once it is in your inventory. (D) Kill Blackhorn Ungor (lvl 27) at 48k, 39k to receive the item Grisly Necklace. Sell it to a merchant.

  2. Talabecland (55k, 35k – 48k, 42k) – (1st coor) Right click Casimir Por in the beastmen area E of the Herdstone. (2nd coor) killing blow the lvl 9 champ Witch Hunter Adept and he will give you a necklace that you click on for unlock.

  3. Eataine (14k, 10k) - Kill Riptusk - Level 33 Champion

  4. Norsca - Talk to either (O) (51.7k, 57k) Sister Raffaela in the plagued village, she’s sitting on the ground near the hills next to a bush. (D) 18.5k, 48.5k) Mathis Rittenhouse W of Suderholm PQ near the power hungry villager sitting on a rock.

  5. Chrace (44k, 22k) – Between Yenlui and Blackwood Hill Garison there is a ruined tower with swarming harpies. Kill a Bloodtalon Harpy - Level 7 to get the unlock. NOTE: may have to kill the ones flying and ones on ground.

  6. Ostland (20k, 37.5k) - (O) Kill 50-60 Gashthorn Gor or Blackhorn Gor - Level 17 - Afterwards talk to kill collector Droki Greybeard in CH 8 camp. He brags about killing 50 of them so you must kill more then return to him for unlock.

  7. Ostland (17k, 11k) - (D) Kill 50-60 Darkthorn Gor - Level 13 - Afterwards talk to Gottfried Holz in Felde.

  8. Kadrin Valley (27k, 20k) - (O) Kill Yarrgan The Fiendish - Level 32

  9. (D) Kill Drahamesh - Level 40 Hero - Located in 7k, 18k - Note damage is not Hero level

  10. High Pass (44k, 48k) - Kill Gurrvek Shorthorns - Level 25 Champion

  11. Ostland (47k, 34k) - Kill Plague Feaster - Level 19 Champion. There’s a basket of fish that can be click on to spawn him but if not he wanders N of Wolfenburg past the bridge.

  12. Kadrin Valley (33k, 27k) - Kill Vragi the Brute for a Giant Nosering - Level 38

  13. Chaos Wastes (56k, 20k) – (O) Max out kill collector Harald Nacht. Kill 60 Dreadhorn Bestigor - Level 40-41. Afterwards talk to Harald Nacht

  14. High Pass - (O) Blue Book @ 14k, 42k on the mountain, has a long respawn time.  (D) Red Book @ 28k, 30k in the middle of a pack of 3 trees by some Yhettis.  Right Click on a book on the ground.

  15. Eataine (32k, 13k) - Kill Khaligar Bloodwing, lvl 31 champ, - Pull mob while she is flying - Level 31 Champion

  16. Kadrin Valley (40k, 25k) - Kill Vlasi Ipatiev - Level 40 Hero

  17. Praag (7k, 18k) – (D) kill Drahamesh, lvl 40 hero.

  18. Kill 1000 Flayerkin

 


Aethyric (Deamonic) Tome Tactic


Aethyric Pandemonium - You deal 5% more damage to all enemy Daemon monsters.


Aethyric Ward - You deal 5% more damage to all enemy Daemon monsters, and take 5% less damage from them.


Aethyric Shock - You deal 5% more damage to all enemy Daemon monsters, and take 5% less damage from them. As long as you are attacking an enemy of this type, you will gain Morale 25% faster.


  1. Avelorn (62k, 14k) - Kill Golmir - Level 23 Champion – He’s in a slight depression in the far E wall of the mountain.

  2. Talabecland (36k, 51k) - Kill Blight Spew - Level 29 Champion. Where the river curves into a “u” shape.

  3. Chaos Waste (17.5k, 46.5k – 18.5k, 38k – 18.5k, 40k) - Kill Corpulent Nurglings for 20x Nurgling Ooze Samples - Lvl 30+

  4. Thunder Mountain (16k,16k) - Kill Mysterious Horrors - Level 35 - until you get An Odd Doll - Right click on the doll

  5. Kadrin Valley(40.5k, 25k) – kill Vlasi Ipatiev, lvl 40 hero, N of Greenskin CH 22 sitting at the edge of the cliff.

  6. Troll Country (55k, 27k) – Hiding behind a tree NW of the Griffon OutpostPQ is a corpse half bent over between a rock and a tree. Click on it.

  7. Kill 1000 Bloodletters of Khorne

  8. Kill 1000 Daemonic Bloodvine

  9. Kill 1000 Chaos Furies

  10. Kill 1000 Chaos Spawn Daemonvine

  11. Kill 1000 Slimebeasts

Part 2

Sky Titan (Giant) Tome Tactic – Every 5 unlocks 1 tactic


Sky Titan’s Bulwark - Increases your chances to defend against attacks made by enemy Ogre, Troll, and Giant monsters by 5%.


Sky Titan’s Favor - Increases your chances to defend against attacks made by enemy Ogre, Troll, and Giant monsters by 5%, and increases your chance to critically hit them by 0%.


Sky Titan’s Strength - Increases your chances to defend against attacks made by enemy Ogre, Troll, and Giant monsters by 5%, and increases your chance to critically hit them by 0%. As long as you are attacking an enemy of this type, you gain Morale 25% faster.


  1. Troll Country (9k, 5k) - Kill Cold Snap - Level 20+ Champion - Get the killing blow.

  2. High Pass (8k, 42k) - Kill Marl the Maneater - Level 23 Champion

  3. Troll Country (56k. 48k) - Kill Brackmaw - Get barrel of perfume in the near the Troll Hunting Goblin Camp. Kill him at (56k, 44k).

  4. Black Crag - Kill Stonegullet Trolls for Troll Flesh- Lvl 30+

  5. Black Crag - Find Drul’s Lunch in the Despair Pits in the Stonegullet Troll area - Then kill Skittering Spiders for Poison Glands. Afterwards return to Drul’s Lunch to finish the quest for the unlock.

  6. Highpass (4.5k, 35k) - Run near the Brokenmaw Tracker/Impaler camp

  7. Highpass (9k, 44k – 5k, 45k) Kill Marl the Maneater, lvl 23 champ, he wanders the road.

  8. Black Crag - Kill Rockmaw - Level 31 Champion – First kill it outside the cave at (6.5k, 24k) then go into the cave at (1.3k, 24.5) where it spawns and kill it again for the unlock.

  9. Black Crag (37k, 54k) - Kill Ufgor - Level 40 Champion

  10. Troll Country - Walk to 57k, 35.5k

  11. Troll Country (50k, 50k) - Loot River Troll Dropping from Troll Droppings on the ground.  (O) Afterwards talk to Brenard the Alchemist in Felde Castle at (27k, 82k). (D) Afterwards talk to Voxanna the Transmuter in Felde at (11k, 60k).

  12. Black Crag (40k, 38k) - Enter the Despair Pits (middle of W border) in the north end of the cave pick-up Duregar’s pack and interact with it.  Go to S end of cave and kill Skittering Spiders to get Poison Gland and intract with pack to get the unlock. (O) Return bag to Duregar Bronzemug at the CH 21 camp

  13. Kadrin Valley(34k, 28k) – Kill Vragi the Brute. Drops Giant Nosering, right click for unlock.

Outmaneuver (Fungal) Tome Tactic – Every 2 unlocks 1 tactic


Outmaneuver the Dim - You can approach 50% closer to an enemy Greenskin monster before it will attack you.


Outmaneuver the Cunning - You can approach 50% closer to an enemy Greenskin monster before it will attack you, and any abilities used against them will cost 10% less action points.


Outmaneuver the Clever - You can approach 50% closer to an enemy Greenskin monster before it will attack you, and any abilities used against them will cost 10% less action points. As long as you are attacking an enemy of this type, you gain Morale 25% faster.


  1. Marsh of Madness (35k, 60k) - Kill Honcho Boglash - Lvl 20.

  2. Marsh of Madness (56k, 7k) – (D)Kill Boglars until you get 5 Boglar Ears - Level 16 - Located in NE of the Order PQ Dam Boglars. Once you get 5 it will auto complete. (O) Kill Boglars and loot ears, collect 5 and talk to kill collector.

  3. Badlands (Mt Gunbad) - Kill Kezzen - Level 20 - located inside the instance, roams in a wide page across the left hand bridge.

  4. Black Crag (63k, 56k) - Kill Hoarding Burrower - Level 41- until you loot Relic Sword of Veranna.  Right click the item.

  5. Kill 1000 Savage Orcs

  6. kill 1000 Night Goblins

Boon (Man) Tome Tactic – Every 2 unlocks 1 tactic


Boon of Impalpable - You can approach 50% closer to an enemy Dwarf, Elf, or Human monster before it will attack you.


 Boon of Tenacity - You can approach 50% closer to an enemy Dwarf, Elf, or Human monster before it will attack you, and any abilities used against them will cost 10% less action points.


Boon of Persistence - Currently Bugged - You can approach 50% closer to an enemy Dwarf, Elf, or Human monster before it will attack you, and any abilities used against them will cost 10% less action points. You will gain 50% more experience from these enemies.


  1. Ostland (56k, 24k) - Kill Lodwig Falkenheim - Level 17

  2. Barak Varr - (O) Talk to captains Flintbeard and Erginsson on the Ironclan.  May have to also interact with the first mate on the ship as well.

  3. Barrack Varr (11k, 49k) - (D) Kill Sea Anvil Slayers - Level 12 - until you have 20x Slayer Scalps - Afterwards turn the scalps in to Reezel in Barrack Varr 33k, 60k

  4. Kadrin Valley (29k, 40k) - Interact with Stonesmith Supplies on the broken bridge.  Surrounded by Level 40 Order Dwarfs.

  5. Thunder Mountain (17k, 5k) - Kill Drakk Cultist - Level 35

  6. Isle of the Dead - Kill 1000 Living Armors - Level 36. DestroPQ Area (Ritual of Metal)

Apotheosis (Mythical) Tome Tactic – Every 3 unlocks 1 tactic


Apotheosis of Flesh - You deal 5% more damage to all enemy Magical Beast, Dragonoid, and Forest Spirit monsters.


Apotheosis of Spirit - You deal 5% more damage to all enemy Magical Beast, Dragonoid, and Forest Spirit monsters, and any abilities used against them will cost 10% less action points.


Apotheosis of Mind - You deal 5% more damage to all enemy Magical Beast, Dragonoid, and Forest Spirit monsters, and any abilities used against them will cost 10% less action points. As long as you are attacking a monster of this type, your abilities will cool down 2 seconds faster.


  1. Troll Country (8.5k, 46k) – SW around the Wart Trolls there’s a single sprite, kill it.

  2. Highpass (58k, 16k) – Kill Elorian lvl 16

  3. Avelorn (31k, 40k) - Kill Oldbark - Level 24

  4. Mount Bloodhorn - Kill Tainted Grove Spite - Level 7 Hero - until you loot Tainted Spite Essence. (O) Take essence to Hammerstriker Hasher beside the Krom Komar merchant in MountBloodhorn 7k, 25k. (D) Take essence to Bloody Sun Burner in the hut in CH 3 in MountBloodhorn 3k, 26k.

  5. Kill 1000 Imps

  6. Kill 1000 ****atrice

  7. Kill 1000 Wyverns

Cunning (Queek) Tome Tactic


Cunning Evasion - Increases your chances to defend against attacks made by enemy Skaven monsters by 5%.


Cunning Assault - Increases your chances to defend against attacks made by enemy Skaven monsters by 5%, and increases your chance to critically hit them by 0%.


Cunning Statagen - Increases your chances to defend against attacks made by enemy Skaven monsters by 5%, and increases your chance to critically hit them by 0%. You will gain 0% more experience from these enemies.


  1. Talabecland (30k, 16k) - Climb to the top of the HornedTower and touch the banner.

Altdorf (24k, 25k) – (O) Kill Master Moulder Vitchek - Level 19 Hero.  Kill the regular level 15 Skavens first then he will spawn

I am a office @$#&% and have nothing to do but search for stuff on the internet at work, so I did a weeks worth of research to make sure that the info was correct and scrubbed alot of papers to find the info.  Of course there are plenty more tactic unlocks that haven't been uncovered and I am in the proccess of finding all of them now.  I have also started running around to verify all the info as well and will update when I find more or find out that something is incorrect.  And of course if anyone else finds more or anything incorrect feel free to post.  Thanks

Money Tome Tactic Guide



TIPS:
When Killing 1000 Banshees in Marshes of Madness around 7k 26k at an Order PQ:
  • Stage 1 Kill 100 Zombies - so kill 100 Bog Zombies
  • Stage 2 Kill Pillars - These pillars spawn the banshees, so don't kill the Pillars just yet. There are 8 Pillars that spawn 1 or sometimes 2 banshees. Stage 2 Lasts 10 MINUTES. So around 8 Mins kill the pillars for stage 3.
  • Stage 3 - when stage 3 starts, 2 skeletons will go out and repair the pillars. wait for them to repair and stage 2 will start and there will be 8-12 banshees to kill. Rinse and Repeat. If you fail stage 2, there will be a chat message that shows up. Then you will have to kill 100 bog zombies again.
